Privacy Policy

At Browns Animal Herbals we understand that your privacy is important. We guarantee that the personal information you supply to us will not be viewed or received by any third party and that this information will solely be used by Browns Animal Herbals.

We only collect information that is required for us to maintain a business relationship. We will use this information to inform you of monthly specials, general information and newsletters.If you believe that Browns Animal Herbals has misused your personal information or breached your privacy rights in any way you should contact us immediately.

Delivery

Please allow a minimum of 14 days for delivery. To ensure you receive your delivery prior to your next monthly club meet, process your order and payment online promptly. Delivery is free when you hold a fundraising event, any subsequent orders require you to pay for delivery.

Members taking advantage of our 5% discount can expect to receive the goods within 7 days from the time we receive payment, if postage is within Australia. Postage charges will apply and will be included in your invoice.

Browns Animal Herbals will not be held responsible for any damage to goods that may occur in transit. Our products will be packaged securely and collected by the transporter in the appropriate condition. Any problems or concerns should be directed at the transport company.

It is the responsibility of the club to ensure there is a representative at the delivery address at the time of delivery. Responsibility will not be taken by Browns Animal Herbals for goods left unattended at the delivery address. Browns Animal Herbals will advise the representative of the day and approximate time of delivery.

Secure Payments

This site uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to protect your sensitive information as it is being passed from your PCs browser to our server. Our current SSL certificate is issued by COMODO.
When your credit card details are transmitted to our server they are fully encrypted before being temporarily stored in a secure database pending processing.

Furthermore, after processing your order, your encrypted card details are deleted from our database.
In short, at the completion of the order process, Browns Animals Herbal Supplies hold no remaining copy of your credit card details either in electronic or paper form.

5% Member Discount

This offer is valid for 3 months from the date we receive your initial fundraising order. It is available to all club members, their families and friends. Members must place their order on our website and make payment prior to the goods being delivered. The unique code must be quoted for each order to receive the discount. This code will be supplied to the club representative with the delivery. This offer applies to each and every fundraising event held by the club, for example, if the club holds an event every quarter, the offer will be available to members all year round. A new code will be supplied for each event.

Availability

Browns Animal Herbals products are made from herbs and plants, therefore are subject to possible availability problems caused by storms, draught, etc. If availability problems occur we will contact you as soon as we are aware, products that cannot be supplied with the order will be placed on back order and supplied as soon as possible.

Important Notices

  • Browns are not and will not be responsible for positive swab tests for animals competing in official capacity.
  • Owners need to keep themselves updated on prohibited substances in their respective competition industries. Some herbs are swabbable.
  • Browns would urge customers to review the rules and regulations regarding banned substances in sport from the Equestrian Australia web site. (www.equestrian.org.au). This site offers information to competitors based on the official advice of the Equestrian Federation.
  • One of the specific pages of interest is EA Rules and Regs / Medication Control. If you scroll down you will see a link titled "EA advises caution against the use of herbal and natural medicine products".
  • Browns Animal Herbals cannot give advice on which herbs or products are prohibited in the lead up to competitions, and therefore cannot be responsible.
  • We realise this is frustrating and confusing for those using herbs for their pets, but this is all the information available to ourselves and the public.
  • Our products and service to animals do not replace veterinary care or advice, please seek professional veterinary attention when needed.
